Sarah, a COO at a 200-person fintech, realised she was attending meetings out of habit, not necessity. Over eight weeks we redesigned her calendar around the decisions only she could make. She reclaimed roughly 14 hours a week.
Executive coaching, based in Wales
You already know what to do. Executive coaching helps you figure out why you’re not doing it.
Most senior leaders don’t lack competence. They lack a space where they can think without performing. That’s what we offer: structured, honest, one-to-one coaching that gets to the root of the stall.
Book your clarity callThe actual problem nobody talks about in the boardroom
You were promoted because you were good at something specific. Then the job changed. The skills that got you here are not the skills you need now, and the gap between those two realities creates a kind of paralysis that looks, from the outside, like everything is fine.
Your direct reports think you have it figured out. Your board expects decisiveness. Meanwhile, you’re recycling the same three strategies because they worked once, four years ago.
This is not a personal failure. It is the predictable consequence of being promoted into complexity without support. Coaching gives you a thinking partner who has no agenda except your clarity.
Four stages, twelve weeks
Week 1: Diagnostic conversation
A 90-minute session where we map what is actually going on. Not your goals for the quarter. Not your OKRs. The real picture: where you feel stuck, where your confidence has eroded, what decisions you keep deferring. We record the themes, not the details, and use them to shape the programme.
Weeks 2 through 5: Pattern disruption
Fortnightly sessions of 75 minutes each. We identify the two or three habitual patterns that are keeping you circling. These might be conflict avoidance, over-preparation, a reluctance to delegate strategic work, or something else entirely. Between sessions you run small, low-risk experiments to test new approaches in real situations at work.
Weeks 6 through 10: Building the new default
Weekly 60-minute sessions. By now, the experiments have produced data. Some worked; some didn’t. We take what worked and turn it into repeatable behaviour. The focus shifts from insight to execution: how do you sustain this when the pressure returns?
Weeks 11 and 12: Consolidation
Two final sessions to stress-test the changes. We revisit the diagnostic themes from week one and measure movement. You leave with a written summary of your patterns, your new defaults, and a set of self-coaching questions you can use independently.
What changed for these leaders
Three examples from the past eighteen months. Names used with permission; companies anonymised at their request.
David had been passed over twice for a regional director role. The feedback was always vague. Through coaching, he identified a specific communication pattern that made stakeholders feel excluded from his decision-making. He changed it. He got the role.
Two co-founders were at an impasse that was bleeding senior talent. Individual coaching with each founder over twelve weeks rebuilt enough trust to agree a new governance structure. Three key hires who had been about to leave chose to stay.
Questions people actually ask
Therapy explores the past to heal. Coaching uses the present to build. We are not interested in your childhood unless it is directly affecting a decision you need to make this month. If I think therapy would serve you better, I will say so and refer you to a qualified professional.
The twelve-week programme is £4,800 plus VAT, paid in two instalments. Single sessions for returning clients are £450 each. Corporate billing and purchase orders are fine; just let me know during the clarity call.
Yes. About 70% of my clients work with me over video. The diagnostic session works best face-to-face if you can get to Wales, but it is not required. I use Zoom with end-to-end encryption enabled, and I never record sessions.
I am happy to have a three-way alignment call with you and your HR sponsor to agree on broad objectives. After that, everything we discuss is confidential. I will not share session content with your employer. At the end, I provide a brief summary of themes covered, which you review and approve before it goes anywhere.
Primarily individuals. If a team issue surfaces during coaching, I may suggest a facilitated session with the relevant people, but my core work is one-to-one. For full team development programmes, I can recommend trusted colleagues who specialise in that space.

The clarity call is 25 minutes, free, and has no obligations attached. We will talk about what is going on for you and whether coaching is the right response. Sometimes it isn’t, and I will tell you that.
